Locate the Mysterious Well, open it with 666 gold, and track the four sacrifice-bowl rituals.

Use spendable gold, not Gold Wood. Food, crops, and ordinary eggs do not unlock the entrance.

After the well opens, descend to the chicken statue and the sacrifice bowl surrounded by four hint pillars.
Complete the four ritual recipes
Use 1 Hamster + 1 Balloon, 1 Raw Duck, 1 Egg + 1 Gold Wood, and 2 Grilled Chicken Legs + 1 Golden Egg. The four recipes may be completed in any order.

Confirm that the amount is exactly 666 and that you are dropping gold currency. Gold Wood is used later in a ritual. For a ritual that does not trigger, verify every ingredient, leave the altar area, and return before adding more items.
