A progression framework for connecting missions, areas, tools, trees, machines, and furniture.
Direct answer
Advance by finishing the current mission, using its reward to remove the slowest production constraint, and then checking which area, tree, machine, or recipe becomes available.
Spend the reward on the constraint
Use new money or materials on the tool, machine, or route that currently blocks your production line.
Explore the newly available route
Check the map and nearby stations after a mission update. New trees, regions, and recipes should be recorded only when visible in-game or in a source you can cite.
Update your canonical notes
Keep the unlock and its consequence together on the relevant mission, map, or machine page.
Failure branch
Progress appears stuck
Return to the last named objective, inspect the mission marker, and verify that the reward was collected. Do not treat a competitor's sequence as universal without a matching save.

Progress is confirmed when a new objective, region, station, tree, or recipe becomes available.
